Durham Police Investigate Fatal Stabbing
The Durham Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred on Queen Street on Thursday morning.
At approximately 7:14 a.m. on November 30, 2023, officers responded to a report of a stabbing near the intersection of Liberty Street and Queen Street. When officers arrived, they found an adult male victim who had been stabbed. EMS responded and he was transported to a local hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
Based on preliminary investigation, this appears to be an isolated incident. This is an active investigation and no further information can be released at this time.

UPDATE: The victim in this stabbing has been identified as Alexander Bernard Jordan, 41.
