At approximately 8:42 p.m. on May 21, 2024, Durham Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a convenience store in the 1200 block of Fayetteville Street. The suspect was reported to have pulled a black handgun on two store clerks and demanded money. The victims complied and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was described as being a black male, 6’0” tall, about 250 pounds with long braids.
