The suspect was reported to have pulled a black handgun on two store clerks and demanded money. The victims complied and the suspect fled the scene. The suspect was described as being a black male, 6’0” tall, about 250 pounds with long braids. At approximately 3 a.m. on November 5, 2023, officers responded to an armed robbery that occurred at the victims’ residence in the 2500 block of Vesson Street. An adult male and an adult female were just returning home from work when an adult male suspect emerged from the tree line and pointed a handgun at them. The suspect took the female victim’s purse before running through their backyard toward Chapel Hill Road. The suspect is described as a light skinned Black male who is approximately 30-years-old.
